Among the School of Brentano are counted several founders of new schools and movements (place and period they studied with Brentano): Carl Stumpf (Würzburg, 1866–1870), taught Aron Gurwitsch and became the head of the Berlin School (Max Wertheimer, Kurt Koffka, Wolfgang Köhler)
