Blyth Academy Qatar (BAQ), formerly the Qatar Canadian School, [1] is a private JK-12 international school in Doha, Qatar. BAQ has existed since 2006, and has carried the Alberta accreditation since 2010. [2] The school operates from grades kindergarten to grade 12. [3]
QIS was founded by Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed bin Thani Al Thani and the first Principal, Joyce Griffin, in 1977. It is one of the first British-patterned international schools in Qatar.
