The Wormsloe Historic Site, originally known as Wormsloe Plantation, is a state historic site near Savannah, Georgia, in the southeastern United States.The site consists of 822 acres (3.33 km 2) protecting part of what was once the Wormsloe Plantation, a large estate established by one of Georgia's colonial founders, Noble Jones (c. 1700-1775).
The house was razed in 1954 to build a factory on the site. [8] The former oldest structure with an Atlanta postal address was the Goodwin House, built in 1831. It was located at 3931 Peachtree Road in Brookhaven, Georgia, 0.5 miles (0.80 km) east of the Atlanta city limits. The house was dismantled and moved to an undisclosed location in 2016.
