According to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 the Telangana State came into existence with effect from the appointed day i.e., 2 June 2014. The Second K. Chandrashekar Rao ministry was the highest decision-making body of executive branch of the Government of Telangana, headed by the Chief Minister of Telangana.
