The Stafford Village Four Corners Historic District is located at the junction of New York state routes 5 and 237 in Stafford, New York, United States. It is a collection of six buildings of various types from the 19th century, one of which is the oldest house in Genesee County. [2]
Stafford is a town in Genesee County, New York, United States. The population was 2,424 at the 2020 census. [2] The town was named after a town of the same name in England. Stafford is one of only two interior towns in Genesee County, lying in the east central part of the county, east of Batavia.

The main part of the Stafford urban area, roughly corresponding to the pre-1974 borough, is an unparished area. Nearly half the modern borough's population lives in this area. [39] The rest of the borough is divided into civil parishes. The parish council for Stone has declared that parish to be a town, allowing it to take the style "town council".
