Hi Jake. As far as I know there isn't a legend like that for Google Maps. You could send feedback via the app requesting that Google add a legend - they do read all feedback, so there's a chance they might agree one is needed. Sorry that I couldn't be more helpful.

Hi Nancy, The legend takes some experimentation to figure out. There's no documentation. Refresh from View does work, by it's own rules. The legend only shows one of any particular places icon. They seem to be representative of that class. You can get rid of the Places icons by unchecking Places in Layers in the Sidebar.
