Zionsville is a suburban town located in the extreme southeast area of Boone County, Indiana, United States, northwest of Indianapolis. The population was 14,160 at the 2010 census, [5] 30,693 at the 2020 census. [6] Zionsville promotes itself as a tourist attraction, centered on its village-styled downtown area.
Town Hall (Castle Hall), also known as the Zionsville Town Hall, is a historic town hall located at Zionsville, Boone County, Indiana. It was built in 1902, and is a two-story, rectangular red brick building measuring 54 feet wide and 80 feet deep. It features a stepped gable end. The interior was remodeled in 1935 to house a movie theater.
Boone County lies near the center of the state. It is 24 miles (39 km) from east to west and 17.5 miles (28.2 km) from north to south. It contains about 418.5 square miles (108,500 hectares), two-thirds of which is in cultivation. Its central position, excellent soil, and available water power have been in its favor. [7]
