Anbe Aaruyire (transl. Darling) is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by S. J. Suryah. The film stars him and debutant Nila, along with Urvashi, Santhana Bharathi and Santhanam. The score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman. It was released on 9 September 2005.
The album has 21 songs in total, 15 Instrumental pieces by Mychael Danna and 6 Hindi songs composed by A. R. Rahman with lyrics by Sukhwinder Singh and Raqeeb Alam, except for the song Vaishnava Janatho (which is a famous 15th century bhajan in Gujarati composed and lyricized by Narsinh Mehta).
While the first film released as Anbe Aaruyire in 2005, the latter two failed to progress. [1] In January 2006, the film was reported to be back under way with either S. S. Chakravarthy or Navodaya Appachan being producer and it was suggested that the film would be about a "cunning assistant music director comes to the top". [2]
