The Xi'an Metro, also known as the Xi'an Rail Transit, is a rapid transit system in the city of Xi'an and the neighbouring city of Xianyang, in Shaanxi province, China. The system has 11 lines in operation. Line 2 opened to the public on September 16, 2011. [2] Line 1 began operation on September 15, 2013.

Line 2 of the Xi'an Metro (Chinese: 西安地铁二号线; pinyin: Xī'ān Dìtiě Èr Hào Xiàn) is a rapid transit line in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China, running from north to south. The line is 33.637 km (20.901 mi) long with 25 stations. [3] [4] The line is colored red on system maps.
