Piccolo (Japanese: ピッコロ, Hepburn: Pikkoro) is a fictional character in the Japanese Dragon Ball media franchise created by Akira Toriyama.He made his appearance in chapter #161 "Son Goku Wins!!", published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine on February 9, 1988, [2] as the reincarnation of the evil King Piccolo, who was positioned as a demonic antagonist of the series.
Piccolo arrives on Planet Namek, following being resurrected and wished there. He begins rushing towards the battlefield, and along the way encounters an ailing Nail, on the brink of death. Piccolo reluctantly performs a Namekian fusion with Nail, which increases his power substantially, and begins rushing back to the battlefield.
Additional fusion warriors, including “Gogeta” have been printed. Numerous cards have been released that increase the power level of previous deck archetypes, such as “Namekian Fusion”, “Pain and Power” or “King Cold”. The only super rare event card has been released here.
Porunga and the Namekian Dragon Balls were created by the planet's Great Elder, who kept one ball and gave each of the other six to a different elder. [ch. 252, 260] When the Namekian Dragon Balls are used in the fight with Majin Buu, Porunga is upgraded, and can wish back multiple people at once and still grant three wishes.

"Kami" is a title the good half embraced, and "Piccolo" is the name the evil one chose, adding the moniker of "Daimaou." Daimaou died and was reincarnated in Piccolo Ma Junior. Howver this Piccolo was a new Namek, born of an egg and possessed of a soul (and thus the capacity for good). That Piccolo is the primary component of the fusion.
Goten and Trunks try to join, but they are denied by Vegeta because their use of fusion is illegal. The group finds Piccolo training with Gohan, recruiting him as their final member. Gohan considers joining the team, but he cannot participate due to a business meeting on the day of the tournament.
In this form, Frieza is even more powerful than before. Piccolo begins to fight the new Frieza, but it is clear that Frieza is more powerful. Piccolo is no longer able to hold him off, and soon enough, Frieza starts firing his rapid-energy bullets at the Super Namekian. Overcome by his rage once more, Gohan races to Piccolo's rescue.
