The board conducts examinations at SSC & HSSC level. The SSC ANNUAL EXAMINATION 2020 which commenced on 22 February 2020 was postponed from 14 March 2020 to onwards and on 7 May 2020 it was announced by Federal Minister of Education, Mr. Shafqat Mehmood that this examination has been cancelled [ 3 ] for Academic Year 2019–20.

In 2014, Maham Sabir secured overall first position jointly with two students of other schools, according to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sargodha, declaring the results of the secondary school examination. Sargodha is home to the Sargodha Cricket Stadium. [91] Sargodha's cricket team was a first-class cricket team that represented Sargodha Division. They competed in Pakistan's first-class tournaments in 1961–62 and 2002–03. There's a sports complex adjacent to the stadium that includes gym as well as basketball, badminton and table tennis courts.
