The old Oslo Ø was converted to a shopping mall, but is still part of the station. When the first railway line, Hovedbanen, was built between Oslo and Eidsvoll in 1854, [2] the terminus in Oslo was constructed as an ad-hoc solution located at Gamlebyen.
