The Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz (engl.: German Language Certificate of the Education Ministers Conference) is an official German language certificate of the German education authorities and the Foreign Office (Germany) certifying levels of knowledge of the German language in schools worldwide.
The Goethe-Zertifikat C2: Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom (formerly Zeugnis über die Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung) is a Goethe-Institut certificate proving high-level German language ability.
Students are allowed to repeat the exam as often as they want, [1] and they can use a German–German dictionary during the written examinations. The grading scale of DSH is between 1–3 with 3 being the best possible grade. A detailed breakdown of the percentile achieved in each part of the examination will also be given on the certificate.
UNIcert language courses must be taught in small interactive groups. The courses teach written and oral language. A certificate is received subject to satisfactory attendance, and oral and written exam results. For higher UNIcert levels an internship in a foreign country or study in a foreign country is recommended.
