The Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, Illinois is a respected Chicago area regional theatre. Teatro Luna is an all-Latina theatre ensemble based in Chicago. The group was founded by Coya Paz and Tanya Saracho in 2001 in response to their experiences with a lack of representation of Latinas in the media and theatre scene. [1] Teatro Luna focuses on creating work with other Latinas that reflects a variety of Latina experiences.
CIBC Theatre is a performing arts theater located at 18 West Monroe Street in the Loop area of downtown Chicago. It is operated by Broadway In Chicago, part of the Nederlander Organization. Opened in 1906 as the Majestic Theatre, [1] it currently seats 1,800 and for many years has presented Broadway shows.
In past seasons, it cohabitated with the Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Concert Dance Inc. at Ravinia Festival.
