Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime for digital and home video release in North America with an English dub released in March 2017. [2] [3] The first original video animation was released on December 7, 2016. [4] [5] A second season of the anime was announced on February 18, 2018, during the GA Bunko 2018 Happyō Stage at Wonder Festival. [6]
The season was originally scheduled to premiere in July 2020, [1] but was delayed to October 3, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [2] The third season adapts volumes nine to eleven of the light novel. The opening theme for the third season is "Over and Over" by Yuka Iguchi while the ending theme is "Evergreen" by sajou no hana. The third season consists of 23 episodes, originally airing from January 2014 to June 2016. This is the first season that uploaded new episodes onto YouTube before airing on TV.
