Gus Giordano (July 10, 1923 – March 9, 2008 [1] [2]) was an American jazz dancer, teacher, and choreographer.He performed on Broadway, in theatre and television.He founded the Gus Giordano Dance School in 1953 and Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago in 1963.

PigPen Theatre Company (stylized as PigPen Theatre Co.) is a New York City-based indie folk band and theater company formed in 2007. [1] As a band, the group writes, records, and tours music of the folk genre; as a theater company, the music is used to support original folk theatrical productions written and often performed by the members of the band themselves.
Released only a year after Roots and Branches, Tribute features the same lineup and a country rock sound. [1] Billy Ray Latham's electric guitar features on "Caney Creek", and rock influences are evident in the song writing and cover choice. The album features a re-recorded version of "Dooley" from the Dillards' debut, Back Porch Bluegrass.
Sankar Venkateswaran (b. 1979), is a theatre director from India. Born in Calicut, Kerala, Venkateswaran studied directing at the School of Drama and Fine Arts, University of Calicut, after which he trained at the Theatre Training and Research Programme (currently Intercultural Theatre Institute) in Singapore.
