The Aravalli Range (also spelled Aravali) is a mountain range in Northern-Western India, running approximately 670 km (420 mi) in a south-west direction, starting near Delhi, passing through southern Haryana, [1] Rajasthan, and ending in Ahmedabad Gujarat.
The Aravalli Mountain Range is a northeast-southwest trending orogenic belt in the northwest part of India and is part of the Indian Shield that was formed from a series of cratonic collisions. Aravalli Biodiversity Park [7] is an area spreading over 2.8 km 2 (690 acres) on the South Central Delhi Ridge within the Aravalli Range. The area is enclosed by JNU , Mehrauli - Mahipalpur Road, National Highway 8 , Vasant Kunj, Masoodpur, Palam road and the southern periphery of Vasant Vihar .
Located high on a hill of aravalli mountain range, it is the principal tourist attraction in Bundi. [1] The fort was built here on a steep hill at a height of 1426 feet.
