The Metro Theater (formerly the Midtown Theater and Embassy's New Metro Twin) is a defunct movie theater at 2626 Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. It was designed by architecture firm Boak and Paris and built between 1932 and 1933. The theater is designed in the Art Deco style and originally contained 550 seats.
Metrograph first opened to the public on March 4, 2016, featuring a bar, concessions stand, and two theaters downstairs with another bar, restaurant, and curated film bookstore on its second floor. [3] At launch, the films screened at Metrograph were initially programmed by the film producers and writers Jacob Perlin and Aliza Ma. [4]

The Metro Theatre was an adult movie theatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Located at 677 Bloor Street , it was open ten hours a day throughout the entire week [ 1 ] before its closure in 2013. Built in 1938, it is one of the several Art Deco theatres built in Toronto in the 1930s by architects Kaplan and Sprachman. [ 2 ]
