The Gen2, codenamed Wira Replacement Model (WRM) was launched in 2004 as a replacement for the Wira Aeroback while the Persona launched in 2007 as a replacement for the Wira sedan. The Proton S70 is a C-segment compact sedan [1] produced by Malaysia's automotive company Proton in collaboration with Geely Auto. The vehicle was previewed on 20 November 2023, as it is marked the first sedan car produced by Proton following the 49.9% share acquisition by Geely in 2017. [2] The S70 is marked as a successor to the Proton Prevé.
The Proton GEN•2 EVE Hybrid Concept was unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. EVE stood for Efficient, Viable, Environmental and it was primarily designed by Lotus Engineering with support from Proton. This concept car was powered by a CamPro 1.6 engine paired to a 30 kW (40 hp) electric motor.
