The Interstate then enters Trigg County and crosses the Muddy Fork Little River a short distance later. About five miles (8.0 km) later, the Interstate has an interchange with US 68 and KY 80 between Cadiz and Hopkinsville. The highway then crosses into Christian County a few miles later.
