Xenoblade - In Xenoblade 1 you can work to rebuild Colony 6 and in Xenoblade X, the game centers around developing New Los Angeles. Engaging in the town building gives you access to new gear, equipment and abilities. Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Here you can buy a home and add display pieces for your weapons.

Suikoden and Suikoden 2 have my favorite base-building systems. You get the practical things like armor shops and inns, but you also get minigames that are (sometimes) fun in their own right and, in the best cases, give you new insight into your characters (e.g., Suikoden 2's cooking sidequest).

  4. Satisfactory |OT| If it Ain't Broken FICSIT Anyway - ResetEra

Satisfactory is in my opinion 40% a factory game, 40% a base-building game and 20% an open world exploration game. It's got the deepest levels of personal expression of all the factory games out on the market now just from the sheer flexibility of building zany buildings on or off the grid at your discretion and then making them actually ...

Oct 27, 2017. 4,428. Nov 10, 2018. #1. So I currently have a craving for a game where you find and recruit NPCs to build out your team, town, castle, etc. My favourite game of all time is Suikoden II, the best game in this category. Recent games with this gameplay mechanism would be Ni No Kuni 2 (did a fantastic job) and a little bit Fallout 4.

Banned. Nov 8, 2017. 3,532. Jun 5, 2020. #30. Conan Exiles. You claim and control territory by building structures upon it (e.g. your base). If someone else has already claimed the territory, you can't build there, and other players can't build on territory that you've claimed.

Subnautica is a fantastic game but the setting is definitely unique... and terrifying. I know it has a poor reputation but Fallout 76 is actually not a bad choice. It has survival elements (eating, drinking, etc.) and you can build a base anywhere you want in an overall very pretty and big open world.

  9. RTS games that let you build cool bases - ResetEra

Oct 11, 2019. #1. RTS games aren't really popular these days. But back in the day, there were some that let you build cool bases. You could take your time to turtle and just build an elaborate and cool-looking base just for the sake of it. The Command & Conquer games were good with this. Starting with the first game, you could build walls ...

  10. Is there a good cultivation wuxia game? - ResetEra

    www.resetera.com/threads/is-there-a-good-cultivation-wuxia-game.403372

Rimworld style base building game, although not as focused on the survival aspects since the cultivation stuff makes things like food supplies pretty much irrelevant. A character raising game with some turn based strategy combat. It's kind of unbalanced and the translation is google translate tier, but apart from that it seemed pretty good.
