The McNeese State Cowboys baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States. [2] The team is a member of the Southland Conference , which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association 's Division I .

In the 2021 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament, the fourth-seeded Cowboys made a run to the finals where they fell to second-seeded TCU 7–10. They earned an at-large bid into the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball tournament, where they were seeded second in the Tucson Regional. There, the Cowboys were eliminated by third-seeded UC Santa Barbara.
