Calling Festival (formerly Hyde Park Calling and Hard Rock Calling) was an annual music festival, formerly held in Hyde Park, London, from 2006 until 2012, and from 2013 in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London.
The park has also played host to music festivals, including Party in the Park between 1998 and 2004, The Wireless Festival between 2005 and 2012, Hard Rock Calling between 2006 and 2012, Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park since 2011 and Barclaycard presents British Summer Time since 2013.

When The Who performed at Hyde Park Calling, they were joined by Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond to test vans. The episode was broadcast on 30 July 2006. Shows from the entire European tour were broadcast online at the band's website.

On August 22, 2006, the band released their debut self-titled album on Megaforce Records. That summer, the band played the same stage as The Who at the Wireless Festival in Leeds and the Hyde Park Calling Festival in London. In the fall of 2006 and spring of 2007, Rose Hill Drive supported The Who on select US and European dates.
The band released their debut album The World Is Outside in June 2007 and toured the album, including a slot as the 4th act on the main stage of London's Hyde Park Calling Festival, to be followed by The Feeling, Crowded House and Peter Gabriel and support to Keane at O2 Arena in London on their last UK date of their Under the Iron Sea Tour.
