The Blackstone Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Founded by Kent Taylor and Stephanie Weins in 1994, it claims to be Nashville's oldest craft brewery. [1] [2] The original brewpub, called Blackstone Restaurant and Brewery, opened on New Year's Eve 1994 and operated until 2016.
John E. Klobucar opened Flint, Michigan's first Kentucky Fried Chicken in 1963, the first outside of the Detroit area. [3] [4] He incorporated his business on August 16, 1967 as Slick-Chick, Inc. [5] A decade later in 1973, Klobucar started Big John Steak and Onion, [3] [4] the first restaurant to serve submarine sandwiches in the Flint Area. [3]

The Paterson Building is a historic structure located at 653 South Saginaw Street and Third Street in Flint, Michigan. It was built by William A. Paterson of the W. A. Paterson Company who first built carriages there starting in 1869. He switched to manufacturing automobiles in 1909, and the company built well-regarded automobiles until 1923. [1]
