The city centre is served by Leeds Bradford Airport. This is situated in Yeadon approximately seven miles north -west of the city centre. The City of Mabgate Inn was converted to flats in 2006. It dates from 1857: the green area opposite was a cholera burial ground. [10] In 2020 it was named by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the coolest places to live in the UK. [11] Leeds City College acquired a site on the east of Mabgate in 2020 which is being developed as a college campus. [12]
