In early 2010, Carver County began construction of the section from St. Bonifacius to Mayer. The first trail section runs 7 miles (11 km). It officially opened on May 21, 2011. Carver County extended the trail in 2012 from Mayer, west through New Germany to the Carver/McLeod County Line. The second section runs for 5.5 miles (8.9 km).
It features 19 miles (31 km) of paved biking/hiking trails, 21 miles (34 km) of horse trails, and a 13-mile (21 km) mountain bike trail. It also has a championship level disc golf course and a popular chlorinated swimming pond and a creative play area. Elm Creek also has a large fully fenced off-leash dog area.
County Road 14 is an east-west route in eastern Carver County. It serves the cities of Chaska and Chanhassen. [1] It starts at Victoria Drive in Laketown Township and heads east as Pioneer Trail. It has a major intersection with State Highway 41 in Chaska and State Highway 101 in Chanhassen.
Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail is a 15.3-mile (24.6 km) mixed-use path in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. It is maintained by the Three Rivers Park District. [1] The trail features 8 separate boardwalks in 1.7 miles (2.7 km) that traverse Nine Mile Creek and its marshes. It is predicted to serve 400,000 people yearly. [2]
