I just got malware bytes for free because i was worried. Turns out it blocked 6 malware I got today by accidently going to a website. When my free trial ends, can those 6 viruses still attack me? or will malwarebytes protect me from the viruses. I am very worried.
Nope it's definitely not free anymore. I just installed it on my home pc's on my windows domain and it told me that it does not work on business devices roflmao! Apparently, having a domain means you are a business in their eyes. Meh. I guess that their business team isn't all that smart...
Malwarebytes Free is a manual second opinion scanner, only. Malwarebytes Premium offers real-time AV protection. In free mode, the 'service' is there purely to permit automated database/version updates.....and popup ads. It's not a matter of "if it bothers you to enter yours" - it's that FREE should be FREE (in my humble opinion) - Malwarebytes FORCING a Premium Trial is NOT good Business practise. To date I have always recommended Malwarebytes to my colleagues (and have a PAID subscription myself) but if they insist on this now I will STOP such recommendations.
Cancel the Trial within 7 days and Malwarebytes Mobile Security will return to the Free version. Closing this topic as the question has been answered. Thank you
