The 2022–23 Rochdale A.F.C. season was the 116th edition of the Rochdale Association Football Club and the club's second consecutive season in League Two. In addition to the league, the club also competed in the 2022–23 FA Cup, the 2022–23 EFL Cup and the 2022–23 EFL Trophy.
Rochdale were promoted to League One on 26 April 2014, after beating Cheltenham Town 2–0. [4] Playing at the club's highest level the 2014–15 season was the club's most successful yet.
