Valley is a city in Douglas County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 3,037 at the 2020 census. [3] Valley is also home to the area's National Weather Service office, serving portions of eastern Nebraska and southwestern Iowa.
As of the census [8] of 2010, there were 173 people, 79 households, and 46 families living in the village. The population density was 786.4 inhabitants per square mile (303.6/km 2).
No additional counties were added to the metropolitan area until 1983, when Washington County of Nebraska was added. Cass County, Nebraska, was added in 1993; Saunders County in Nebraska and Harrison and Mills counties in Iowa became part of the Omaha–Council Bluffs metropolitan area in 2003.
