In Keller, the highway is known as "Keller Parkway", and in Southlake, it is known as "Southlake Boulevard". The highway passes through the commercial center of Keller and Southlake, and helps connect residents of the area to businesses and major highways. The highway was designated in the early 1950s and extended in the mid-1980s.
