State Trunk Highway 129 (often called Highway 129, STH-129 or WIS 129) is a 2.69-mile (4.33 km) state highway in central Grant County, Wisconsin, United States, that runs from U.S. Route 61/Wisconsin Highway 35/Wisconsin Highway 81 (US 61/WIS 35/WIS 81) southeast of the city of Lancaster north to US 61 northeast of the city of Lancaster, bypassing the city to the east.
County trunk highways first came into being in 1921. The first county highways were independent of the state's trunk highway system and lacked state legislative approval. By 1924, every county in Wisconsin had set up its own county highway system, with the state authorizing county highways in 1925. [3]

WIS 11 begins in Grant County at the freeway carrying US 61 and US 151 and concurrent with WIS 35.WIS 35 turns south to Illinois a half of a mile into the route as WIS 11 meanders to the east to Hazel Green where it picks up WIS 80 north for 3 miles (4.8 km) before turning east again into Lafayette County while WIS 80 continues north along the county line.
