Kaleo (stylized as KALEO) is an Icelandic blues rock band which formed in Mosfellsbær in 2012. It consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jökull Júlíusson , drummer Davíð Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjánsson, lead guitarist Rubin Pollock and harmonicist Þorleifur Gaukur Davíðsson.
In 2012, he founded Kaleo, along with Davíð, Daníel and Rubin Pollock, ahead of the Iceland Airwaves music festival. [7] [13] In 2014, he won the 2013 Icelandic Audience Award Singer of the Year. [14] [15] In 2017, he was admitted to hospital due to stress-related illness, [16] [17] forcing Kaleo to cancel several concerts. [11]
