The school was named for Glen A. Wilson, former Superintendent of the La Puente Union High School District 1953-1972 (which became Hacienda La Puente Unified School District in 1970). [4] He was born in Alpaugh, California, on September 11, 1913. He was a resident of Hillcrest in La Verne, California when he died on September 7, 1996. [5]
