The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB; Filipino: Lupon sa Prangkisa at Pamamahala ng Transportasyong Panlupa [1]) is an agency of the Republic of the Philippines under the Department of Transportation (DOTr). The LTFRB was established on June 19, 1987, during the former president Corazon Aquino’s administration.

The MOTC was organized from the sectoral offices of the national government's Department of Transportation (DOTr) in the now defunct Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
