Quality Inn was founded in 1939 as Quality Courts United, which was the first hotel chain in the United States. By 1946, the association grew to 50 hotels and to 100 hotels by 1952. Plans for the hotel were approved by Bensalem Township Council on March 13, 2023. [22] As of October 2023, construction on the Parx Casino Hotel is on hold. On June 24, 2024, Parx announced that it has purchased the Inn at Fox Chase, a 167-room hotel adjacent to the casino, which it plans to renovate and rebrand within the next year. [23]
