The Telluride Association is a non-profit organization in the United States founded in 1910 by Lucien Lucius Nunn and named for his hometown, Telluride, Colorado.The organization states its mission as providing young people with free educational programs emphasizing intellectual curiosity, democratic self-governance, and social responsibility.
The programs were designed to bring together young and intellectually bright students from around the world who share a passion for learning. The participants, or TASPers, attended an intensive seminar led by college and university faculty members and participated in many educational and social activities outside the classroom.
The Telluride Association at Cornell (and in time elsewhere) remained, and still remains, in existence. Its mission eventually expanded to encompass a variety of intellectually intense residential houses for college students, summer programs for high school students, scholarships, and other activities, all coeducational.

The earliest known photograph of the Telluride House, taken in the year of its founding, 1910. Visible in the background are McGraw Tower, Uris Library and Barnes Hall.. The Telluride House is located on Cornell University's West Campus, directly downhill from Willard Straight Hall, and houses Telluride scholars as well as the Telluride Association's main office.
