Arkansas State Fair Livestock Show Validation Program -2024. Deadlines for ordering and submitting DNA: STEERS Kits For mailing – must be ordered by April 19th. For Pick up from the Arkansas State Fairgrounds main office – order and pick up during normal business hours. This is available until May 5, 2024.
Each year the State Fair opened with a huge parade down Main Street in Little Rock. In the 1950s, the Royal American Shows provided the carnival at the Arkansas State Fair. For many rural Arkansans, the State Fair was a time to come to the “big city” and experience thrilling rides and exciting shows.
School Day at the Fair. $3 Fair admission sold at gates from 1 p.m. to close for all school children through 12th grade. Lunch at the Fair, Sponsored by Entergy. Fair patrons get free parking and free gate admission weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The State Fair Complex is only five minutes from downtown Little Rock and a short drive from the Clinton National Airport. The Complex features paved, controlled and lighted parking to handle any size crowd.
