The ASEAN U-19 Boys' Championship (formerly AFF U-19 Youth Championship) is an annual international football competition contested by the national teams of the members of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and occasionally invited nations from the rest of Asia.
It was hosted by Indonesia during July 2022. [1] The planned 2020 and 2021 AFF U-19 Youth Championship were cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic . Players born after 1 January 2003 could participate in this tournament.
It took place in Indonesia, which was appointed as the host by the AFC on 25 July 2017, [1] between 18 October and 4 November 2018. [2] A total of 16 teams played in the tournament. The top four teams of the tournament qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland as the AFC representatives.
