Up in Smoke (also referred to as Cheech & Chong's Up in Smoke) is a 1978 American buddy stoner comedy film directed by Lou Adler and starring Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, Tom Skerritt, Edie Adams, Strother Martin, and Stacy Keach. It is Cheech & Chong's first feature-length film.
Smith briefly continued playing drums for Jett after the Runaways' break-up and provided backing vocals for Jett's first solo album. [6] 1978 also marked Smith's appearances in Charles Band's cult classic Laserblast and Cheech and Chong's box-office hit Up in Smoke, the latter directed by Lou Adler, record producer and co-owner of the Roxy Theatre.

Otto Felix (December 31, 1942 – December 13, 2008) [1] was a motion picture and television actor, acting teacher and still photographer. Raised in Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Fishburne Military School, Waynesboro, Virginia, then he served in the U.S. Army, and worked as a disc jockey in Florida, before beginning an acting career.
He played Cheech & Chong's police department nemesis Sgt. Stedenko in Up in Smoke and Nice Dreams. He also appeared as Barabbas in Jesus of Nazareth. In 1978, he played a role of explorer and scientist in Slave of the Cannibal God, co-starring former Bond girl Ursula Andress. [13] The film became a cult favorite as a "video nasty".
