Thomas M. Cooley High School is an abandoned high school located at the intersection of Hubbell Avenue and Chalfonte Street, on the northwest side of Detroit, Michigan. The three-story, Mediterranean Revival -style facility opened its doors on September 4, 1928.

The Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center (TMC) is a magnet school in East Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas, United States. The school names reflects the view of downtown Dallas. [2] TMC is a three-story building campus that houses six independent magnet high schools in the Dallas Independent School District. The six component schools are:
El Camino High School is situated on a foothill of the San Bruno Mountain and consists of five different levels. The first level consists of a theater and a parking lot which, in 2012, was updated to contain a wide solar panel array, and a two-floor Science Building which opened in April 2014.
It was in the Los Angeles City High School District until 1961, when it merged into LAUSD. [7] Beginning in fall 2007, some neighborhoods zoned to Hamilton High School were rezoned to Venice High School. [8] On May 15, 2009, students staged a walkout in response to LAUSD increasing class sizes and cutting teachers. [9]
The first high schools were established within existing technical colleges, utilising their buildings. The first purpose-built high school buildings were constructed in 1917 and were large, elaborate buildings that were variations of a standard design introduced in 1914 (C/T8) as well as vocational buildings built to standard designs.
Freehold Township High School and Manalapan High School, the district's fourth and fifth facilities, were constructed with identical designs.Groundbreaking for both schools took place in August 1969 and the two schools opened in September 1971, having been completed at a combined cost of $10.4 million (equivalent to $78.2 million in 2023).
