Samantha Mohr (born September 13, 1961) [1] is an American meteorologist and television personality from Columbus, Georgia. Mohr was crowned Miss Georgia 1985 and competed for the Miss America 1986 title. She is currently on-air talent at The Weather Channel.
While working at WMAQ from 2006-2011, Zee was once asked to fill in as a guest meteorologist on the weekend edition of The Today Show, and this fulfilled her high school goal. In September 2012, Grow worked on-air at CBS affiliate WUSA in Washington, D.C., as a meteorologist for the weekend evening newscasts. Grow left WUSA in 2015. [3] In September 2015, Grow became the new weekend evening meteorologist for flagship NBC station WNBC in New York City. She now is the meteorologist for WPIX (Channel 11) in New York City.
