Following is a list of current and former courthouses of the United States federal court system located in Michigan.Each entry indicates the name of the building along with an image, if available, its location and the jurisdiction it covers, [1] the dates during which it was used for each such jurisdiction, and, if applicable the person for whom it was named, and the date of renaming.
The old, original Detroit Customs House and Federal Court building was located on the northwest corner of Griswold and Larned Streets. [2] It was a three-story Renaissance Revival style structure completed in 1861 for $162,000. The old Customs House was finally demolished in 1964, and the site is now a parking garage.

McNamara Federal Building is a class-A skyscraper located at 477 Michigan Avenue in Downtown Detroit, Michigan, designed by the Detroit architectural firm of Smith, Hinchman and Grylls. It opened in 1976 to consolidate the offices of federal agencies which were scattered in several locations in the area.
