The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as the "One Piece" in order to become the next King of the Pirates.
An abridged remake of the Skypiea story arc. [n 9] The Straw Hats discover a map to Skypiea, a supposedly mythical civilization in the sky. They soon meet Mont Blanc Cricket, who directs them to a natural underwater explosion which serves as transport to the islands in the sky.
With the destruction of the sea of clouds almost complete, Luffy is finally able to reach and defeat Eneru, saving Skypiea and all its inhabitants. As Eneru falls, Luffy rings the golden bell confirming Skypiea's existence for Cricket, and ending the Shandians' reasons for fighting with Angel Island.
