Moberly Junior High School is a historic school building located at Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri. The main block was built in 1929, and is a two-story, H-shaped, brick building with simple Art Deco styling. The rear auditorium wing was built in 1917 and was originally an addition to an older school that burned. The building closed in 1997.
In April 1992, the last official NS train ran the line between Albia, IA and Moberly, MO as the railroad announced it would abandon the line due to a loss in profit. During the summer of 1993, the railroad reopened to train traffic as the floods of the midwest affected lines around the Mississippi and Missouri rivers.

The city of Moberly was born of a railroad auction on September 27, 1866. The county incorporated the town in 1868 with a board of trustees. The same year that the Wabash Railroad, St. Louis & Pacific Railway shops were finished in Moberly, [11] [12] the city entered a charter into state record and incorporated. [13]
During this time, MACC gained accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In 1990, the school was renamed Moberly Area Community College. [3] Major campus improvements include the $2.5 Million dollar Fine Arts wing constructed in 1984, providing a new library, classrooms, 600-seat auditorium, and Student Commons area.
