Fahlgren Mortine is an advertising agency in the United States. Its headquarters is in Columbus, Ohio, with regional offices in Dayton and Cleveland, Ohio; Boise, Idaho and Charleston, West Virginia. Through subsidiary TURNER, Fahlgren Mortine also has a presence in Chicago, Illinois; New York City and Denver, Colorado.
In the 1950s, AT&T assigned Greater Cleveland Area code 216, which included all of Northeast Ohio. In 1996, Area code 216 was reduced in size to cover the northern half of its prior area, centering on Cleveland and its lake shore suburbs. Area code 330 was introduced for the southern half of Greater Cleveland, including Medina County.

Advance Publications purchased Street & Smith Publications, Inc. in August 1959. [1] [2] The Street & Smith trademark was resurrected in 2017, by Advance Publications' subsidiary American City Business Journals, for a series of sports annuals, and transferred later to a newly formed Leaders Group subsidiary of Advance Publications, creating a standalone sports focused division within Advance.
The part of East Cleveland Township now known as Cleveland Heights became a hamlet in 1901, and then a village in 1903. As demand for large houses declined in the coming decades, and Calhoun's realty company became insolvent in the 1910s, unbuilt lots in the portion of Euclid Heights near Coventry Road were sold at foreclosure sales.
Cleveland was the first city in the U.S. to have all commercial television newscasts produced in high-definition; WJW was the first station to do in December 2004, [5] followed by WKYC on May 22, 2006, [6] WEWS on January 7, 2007, [7] and WOIO on October 20, 2007.
