Ugra was born into the very poor Brahmin family of Vaidyanath Pandey. Several of his siblings had died young, and his name Bechan means 'sold', given to him to avert this misfortune. Vaidyanath died when Ugra was a baby; the family suffered abuse from one of Ugra's two older brothers; and the children received only a patchy education.
Chandradhar Sharma Guleri (7 July 1883 – 11 September 1922) was a writer and scholar of Hindi, Sanskrit, Prakrit and Pali from Jaipur, India.He was born in Jaipur and his father belongs to Guler village in Himachal Pradesh hence "Guleri" at the end of the name (as a tribute to his point of origin).
The first book written by an Indian in English was The Travels of Dean Mahomet, a travel narrative by Sake Dean Mahomed, published in England in 1794. Amarkant was one of the few writers who stuck to the ‘social realistic' tradition of Premchand. Literary critics like Dr Vishwanath Tripathi consider his short stories to be in the lineage of Premchand's later works, particularly his masterpiece Qafan (The Shroud), which is a compactly crafted tale of a Dalit family.
Nalin Vilochan Sharma, or Nalin Vilochan Sharma, was born in Patna on 18 February 1916. He was the fourth child and eldest son of his father, Ramavtar Sarma. From an early age, Nalin's father taught him such Sanskrit classics as the Amarkosh, Kalidas's Meghdoot and Suryashatakam.

She is considered one of the four major pillars [a] of the Chhayawadi era in Hindi literature. [1] She has also been addressed as the modern Meera. [2]
