STPSat 3 is a copy [clarification needed] of the STPSat-2 satellite, adapted to carry six experiments, including a module designed to host various space situational awareness sensors and a pair of space environment sensors. STPSat 3 launched on 19 November 2013, on the ORS-3 Minotaur 1 launch, along with 28 CubeSats. [10]
The launch was delayed multiple times, first in January due to the launch readiness of the STPSat-6 satellite, [34] in June due to some ringing of the RL10-C's new carbon nozzle extension observed during the SBIRS GEO-5 mission, [35] and in November due to a space vehicle processing issue. [36]
After being integrated into STPSat-6, a part of STP-3, LCRD launched on 7 December 2021 on an Atlas V 551. [2] [3] [4] Results from LCRD's first year of experiments in orbit have been shared online [5] and through a SPIE publication. [6]
The Minotaur was launched at 01:25:00 UTC on 20 November 2010, [1] with FalconSat-5 separating into its low Earth orbit just over 25 minutes later. The launch also carried STPSat-2, FASTSAT and NanoSail-D2, FASTRAC, O/OREOS, and RAX. [1] Collectively, the deployment mission was designated STP-S26, and marked the third flight of the Minotaur IV.
HPGP is also planned to be used on the Lunar Flashlight and ArgoMoon missions to the Moon, on Astroscale space debris removal spacecraft, on the U.S. Air Force's STPSat-5 technology demonstrator spacecraft and on the Astranis microGEO bus.

It was hosted aboard a U.S. Air Force Space Test Program Satellite-3 (STPSat-3) and launched on November 19, 2013, from NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Va. JPSS was able to take advantage of this ride-share opportunity to provide a low-cost means of maintaining the continuity of TSI observations. Libera
