Bryan Keith "Dexter" Holland (born December 29, 1965) is an American musician, best known as the co-founder, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, main songwriter and composer, and only constant member of the punk rock band the Offspring. He co-founded with former bandmate Greg K. the record label Nitro Records, which he previously owned.

The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. [1] Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the group originally included vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland (real name Bryan Holland), bassist Greg K. (real name Greg Kriesel) and drummer James Lilja.
Dexter Holland, for most of the video, sings to a shining hanging light bulb. He is the only band member to interact with this bulb, though other lightbulbs are shown in each band member's respective rooms. Dexter also sings into a suspended microphone which is also used in the video; it swings back and forth as the video fades to black.
Recording on and off over 20 days in January and February 1994, the band from Garden Grove put together the record that would change the trajectory of its career.
