Doggerel. Doggerel, or doggrel, is poetry that is irregular in rhythm and in rhyme, often deliberately for burlesque or comic effect. To go dogging or be called a dogger you need a DOG! A lack of a dog means that you are an exhibitionist swinger that likes out door sex with strangers. IMO, the most likely etymology is the one about "taking the dog for a walk" as an excuse. Whilst I don't have any evidence to back this up, it seems to ring true.
