House of the Dragon is an American fantasy drama television series created by George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal for HBO. A prequel to Game of Thrones (2011–2019), it is the second television series in Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire franchise. Condal and Miguel Sapochnik served as the showrunners for the first season.

Ryan J. Condal (born 1979 or 1980) is an American showrunner for the TV series House of the Dragon (2022–present), a prequel to the TV series Game of Thrones (2011–2019). He created House of the Dragon with George R. R. Martin. In the 2010s, Condal and Carlton Cuse were creators and showrunners for the TV series Colony (2016–2018).
Dark Energon, on the other hand, is a corrupted form of energon and the blood of Unicron the Chaos-Bringer, Primus's fallen brother.
